Role Focus
The Finance Manager plays a critical role in safeguarding the company’s financial health while supporting forward-looking, data-driven decision-making. This is a hands-on leadership position focused on disciplined financial management, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth.

Role Overview
The Finance Manager leads all core financial functions, including accounting, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial planning. The role ensures accurate, timely reporting, delivers meaningful financial insights, and supports strategic business initiatives.
This position balances day-to-day operational execution with long-term financial strategy and business partnership.
Reporting and Collaboration

The Finance Manager acts as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing financial clarity and supporting company-wide strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Reporting
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (P&L, balance Sheet, and cash flow).
  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure strong accounting practices.
  • Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
  • Ensure integrity and reliability of all financial data.
Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Leading budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Monitor and Manage P&L and balance sheet performance.
  • Provide clear insights to support leadership decisions.
Cash & Treasury Management
  • Monitor cash flow and liquidity needs.
  • Plan and manage working capital, including receivables, payables, and inventory financing.
  • Oversee banking relationships and treasury activities.
  • Manage CIBC CMO payment inputs and approvals.
Cost Control & Efficiency
  • Track expenses and support cost optimization across the business.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Review capital investments and evaluate return on investment (ROI).
  • Explore automation opportunities and improve financial tools and systems.
Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure timely tax filings and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage audits and maintain strong internal controls.
  • Review and audit the work of direct reports.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, including credit, operational, and compliance risks.
Leadership & Operations
  • Support and develop finance team members.
  • Set clear expectations and performance standards.
  • Ensure processes are followed and continuously improved.
  • Balance day-to-day execution with long-term financial strategy.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
  • Minimum of 3 year's experience in a financial management role
  • Working in MSP environment considered an asset
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Familiarity with process automation and financial toolsets
  • Proficiency in QBE, QBO

Certification
  • Professional Accounting Designation or equivalent (asset, not required)

Compensation

$90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
